Need help breastfeeding

I'm breastfeeding my toddler x4 a day. I came down with a virus yesterday and my toddler is teething.

However, since Friday morning I have been experiencing pain whilst feeding. My nipples are sore beneath my bra. When I feed its painful for the whole feed. There are no lumps, no red patches and I'm certain toddler doesn't have thrush.

Is it the virus causing the sensitivity?
