Infant feeding

Please help me figure out what's going on

Dc3, 4 weeks old. EBF.

Last weekend I got mastitis and am currently on antibiotics. Before that DS was starting to settle into a semi-routine of feed all morning, sleep 3-4 hours in the afternoon, feed all evening, sleep 4-7 hours at night. Since starting the antibiotics I've noticed the following changes:

1- after first poo of the day (yellow), all poos are very green. I know it's not a foremilk issue because he feeds a good 45 minutes on one breast and then doesn't have another feed for 1-1.5 hours (so 2-2.5 after initial feed). Could this be the antibiotics?

2- he won't settle at all in the day. If anything he's drawing his legs up when sleeping and looking for boob. Will wake 10-20 minutes after I put him down. If in the sling will sleep 45min-1hr but gone are the long naps.

Is the drawing his legs up wind or reflux? Why won't he settle in the day and seems like he's in pain? He's not crying more than usual, only when he's bored or wants to be fed. Or is it all likely antibiotics related?

Please give me insight. I so need a routine with the other two to look after and laundry, etc to get done. Yes, I know I can pop him in the sling and get on with things and that's fine but that brings me a whole host of other worries about him not settling when he's put down. Please reassure my sleep deprived head.

When I took ab for mastitis a few years ago then ds1 had terrible green runny poo for a while! So I would say ab! My ds2 now 13 weeks wakes v quickly after being put down n draws legs up as u described n when I pick him up he often burps so I would also agree with you about wind! Just taken ds2 to osteopath n she suggested cutting out brassicas completely to help with wind although some of the wind issues have been down to tongue tie! Also could it be growth spurting type behaviour ie more hungry than usual and unsettled? Hope u recover from mastitis soon as its pretty horrid.
