Dd is 11 weeks old. She was weighed by the mw, hv & GP at her 6 week check.

I feel really stupid but I've not had her weighed. GP said bring her to be weighed, if i was worried but it's not crossed my mind.

She wees loads, poos about once a week. Is growing out of her clothes so I know she's growing.

I've realised after reading threads on here, people get really concerned about weight. Should I be getting dd weighed, if so how often?

Must add she never lost weight after birth & i just fed her no issues or problems - thankfully!

No, it's not compulsory. It's a service the HV team offer but you don't have to take it up. If you have no concerns the don't worry about it and don't go!

The reason that you see weight issues here so often is that they are the ones who are worried and post. The vast majority of people have no concerns and therefore have nothing to post about!
