I am currently on maternity leave. I am a teacher and applying for an internal role at my school which starts in September by which time I will be back ft.
My ds2 is 6mo, ebf. We started on solids a week ago but he hasn't really taken to them yet- not sure he has actually ingested anything actually!
The interview for the job is likely to be next week
and an all day affair. (lots of small interviews with different members of SMT, possibly presentation, task, lesson, group discussion and formal panel interview.
I'm not sure how I'm going to manage. I could express but ds has never had a bottle and I'm reluctant to introduce one now. Also if I expressed I'd probably have to express during the day for comfort. I think the easiest thing would be for my dh or dm to bring he baby to me poss 3x that day so I could feed him. I could go out to their car and do it. hopefully there might be some points in the rigid schedule where I could nip out to do this.
Do you think If I emailed a sympathetic member of SMT with my plan that would be ok?? Should I mention that it won't impact on my ability to do my job at all as by sept he will be 1 and hopefully down to morning and evening feeds only and god knows how many through the night...
