Help, how to stop 8mo nibbling all night long!

Just had an awful night. I know I've been lazy and have got into the habit of fedding baby to sleep.I try to pull out the nipple as he drops off but lately he's getting more persistent and bawls if I don't put it back in.He drops off, I think then I can get some sleep as it's so darned uncomfortable lying on my side all might, then 2 minutes later he's hunting for the boob again. Any ideas how to stop this cycle?

Sorry, should have added that he's been a dummy refuser all along! We've tried loads, but he just spits them out.

We have fallen in to this too and tbh I think it's easier to continue than to try and break the habit (continuing the path of least resistance parenting!) Having said that, making sure boobs are well covered helps a bit as I think smelling milk doesn't help. The good news is that by baby #3 saggy boobs mean I can almost lay on my back now!

Yes, I have that problem already!! Helped when DC2 was clambering over me desperate to find the boob again last night. How long did this phase last?
