Infant feeding

A quick question about poo

My ebf 6 week old DS has had yellow, seedy poo fairly consistently , but in last few days the poos have decreased in frequency, (from one every nappy change to one a day). They are 'bigger' volume-wise, more liquid, and the 'seeds' have gone...still yellow, but maybe a bit darker. Does newborn poo change over time ? Am wondering about diarrhoea but am not sure given the decrease in frequency.
This is my second dc, but am keen to make bf work as with my dd, I'd stopped by now - forgive my poo neurosis!

sounds fine.. at the end of the day your diet changes, so will your babys.

Green is what to look out for and keep an eye on... but yellow is fine.

In the early days we could go for days without one to 12 and every nappy change.

Even green doesn't really matter!

Your milk changes around this time. From the beginning to 4-6 weeks, you are still making colostrum, mixed in with normal milk. Colostrum is a laxative. But now you stop.

Opinions vary about green poo. It's not necessarily a big deal.

Thanks all ... Sounds like it's not panic stations yet...
