The Association of Breastfeeding Mothers runs a course (long with lots of work to do)

I'm sure the other sites like la leche do as well.

Contact your local branch of National Childbirth Trust or their headoffice.

My local NCT branch are advertising for volunteers atm. Course is run for the whole area and I think is a course that runs over 2 years. However, I assume you have to be an NCT member to do it.

Might be worth you enquiring though.

I think a few of the main organisations offer peer support training as well rather than full blown counsellor training. I know a lot of people go for peer support training first to get a taste for it. Also try the NHS - in my area they're trialling a peer support project.
