Hi, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped me on here since ds, now 6 months was born. Because of you, LLL and NCT, he is still getting some breast milk, and while bf hasn?t worked out as I had hoped, I am so grateful to all of you for your advice and encouragement. Thank you for taking the time to read my threads and reply. When I was in the depths of anxiety and depression, or panicking about ds's feeding you helped me to feel like I wasn?t alone. I have read many threads where people have said it?s unmumsnetty to give hugs, be mushy etc, and I don?t know if that?s some sort of ?rule? for mn, but I can?t help but post how grateful I am, and tell you that I wish I could pay you back for all the time you have spent helping me. When my life settles down I will hopefully be able to get on here more and help other people, and am thinking of somehow getting into helping mums with feeding in the future.

That's amazing that he's still getting breastmilk, but don't forget to thank the person who has put the most work in- you :) It's your hard work and perseverance that has got you where you are. You should be proud.

I'm really glad to hear that things are going a bit better for you smk. I agree with Eau, you should be very proud of yourself. You've had a really tough time and persevered when lots of others would have given up, you've done a fantastic job.

Well done! U should be pleased with yourself, it's such an achievement! These boards are great and so supportive, am coming up to 3 months EBF and, like you, couldn't have done it withoutthe mumsnetters!

Great to get an update and i remember your story well. If you have time you could contact LLL and Nct and let them know.they helped. Nct has been getting twitter stick for judging ppl sbout bf and their bfcs could do with a boost :)
