A night off...Express... bottles?

Am exclusively breastfeeding my 3 1/2 month old ds.

Just getting to the stage where my husband and I quite fancy a night out - even if it's just to the cinema for a bit of escapism!

At the moment he settles down at about 7:30 and wakes at about 11:00. So, that gives us a couple of hours to get out together. But want to leave some milk for him just in case.

Have bought a b/pump but have not feed with bottle yet. Will give it a test run before getting 'grandma' round. Am worried about giving him teat. Any advice? Should I go straight to the cup?

Desperate for dinner & a movie with hubbie!

TBH its totally up to you wether you use a bottle or not but i guess if he is drowsy and wakes for a feed it will be v difficult to get him to drink from a cup!! Whatever you choose I would trial it in the day when hes wide awake first!!

not sure if any this will help but......
maybe get dh to give bottle, my dd wont take expresssed bottles from me but quite happy to have if from anyone else!
also maybe try expressing whilst feeding with other breast, no one told me this until we'd had many nights of tears when i couldnt express, had almost decided to give up on my longed for night at the pics.
hope you enjoy your well deserved night out!
