DD2 is nearly 19wks & has been bottlefed since she was 9wks old.She has always been a very sicky baby & would throw up most of her feeds, regardless of whether it was breast milk or formula.I thought it might improve as she got older, but it seems to be getting worse. She is sick after every feed & sometimes will throw up 4 times after a bottle & will still throw up 2 hours after her last feed.
She doesn't appear to be in any pain & often laughs as she is being sick. She does fight the bottle a bit & loses interest in feeding very easily. As she only takes 4oz or so per feed,I am starting to worry that her weight will slow down-she is currently 13lb 6.5 oz & on the 25th percentile. She doesn't sleep through, probably because she drinks so little during the day.
My mum was a nursery nurse for years & says that she has never seen a baby be sick so much as dd2.
I wondered if anyone who has been through the same thing had any advice about how to help her keep her milk down? Also,if your baby was sicky, did they grow out of it or stay a sicky child?
Thanks
