I posted a few months back about my daughters father and how he sadly lost his 6month old baby girl in a choking accident.

Well i texted him last night because i hadn't heard from him in a few weeks and he told me he had been admitted to the mental unit of the hospital.

I dont know how he came to be admitted - if he had tried to take his life or something (it must have been pretty bad because he has been there a month and apparently wont be getting out for at least another month)

He says he cant cope with life anymore and just wants to be with his baby. He also says he is not getting better and is feeling a lot worse.

I'm feeling a mixture of emotions, i'm sad for our daughter, who was just starting to build up a relationship with him again, and i also feel very sorry for him and cant blame him for wanting to go and find happiness again but then i come back to how selfish suicide is for those left behind to pick up the pieces. What the hell am i going to say to my 7 year old daughter if he succeeds!!!

Oh JackJacks, how sad.
I'm not surprised you're feeling mixed emotions, very difficult for you.
