I have just come home from church, a prayer was said for those mothers who no longer have their children with them, I lost my first ds two hours after he was born, he would have been 14 now, i have my second ds now who is 11 but i always think of my first ds especially today and feel that i should have had two cards, two presents etc. My thoughts and prayers are with those today who no longer have their children with them.

Thank you lottiejenkins. I lost my ds 21 years ago but i am finding today difficult. I now have mydd {4} so feel really stupid, as i have her and it was so long ago. Keep thinking it should get easier.

Today has made me think a lot about a dear friend who lost her baby last year 3 weeks before her due date. Your thread has prompted me to contact her.

Thinking of you both, and of anyone else in the same position. I can't even begin to imagine the pain.

we were praying for mothers who have lost children too - and for children without mothers (and I include adults in that) - I know this day can be so very hard - love to you all.

Please think also of those whose children are missing at present who have no idea if they are dead or alive

I can't imagine the pain but it puts a lot of everyday worries in perspective. xxx to all in that position.
