My dd can now turn herslelf over in the night (about 5 months late), but then gets stuck on her tummy and whines until I go and rescue her. Any way to avoid this, or do I have to wait until she learns to roll herself back?

we get exactly the same problem with my 10mths old dd, she rolls over and gets stuck in her sleeping bag. I'll be watching this thread !

It's a bit of a pain isn't it? Especially if they've been going through the night. We just had to grit our teeth and eventually DS learned how to roll back.

funny how night changes things - my dd1 knows perfectly well how to use the potty by herself, so we leave one in her room at night, and she has a lamp she can turn on herself, but she still insists we go in and watch her go on the potty even though she doesn't need our help to do it.

And dd2 is rolling over and getting stuck in the cot too. I remember it being better with a grobag but it's been so hot we've not been using it.
