My 4 yr old DD has been fine at nights for a few months now, she has a potty in her room as she normally wees once or twice in the night, and I just empty the potty in the morning. Over the last couple of weeks though, shes had about 6 nights where I've been woken in the middle of the night to her calling me that her beds wet. I can't think of any reason why she's started this, I don't give her loads of attention when I go in, just change the bed and lie her back down. I'm just washing sheets again this morning, and tired from a 3am call - just wondered if anyone had any pearls of wisdom they could offer please???????

Has her routine changed at all? Has she been ill or having late nights? I found that my ds would wet the bed when he had been to evening football training (he was about 5 at the time) - he was over tired and had drunk alot from his sports bottle. Dd has done this in the past but usually when she was overtired i.e. too tired to wake up to go.
I am surprised that she still goes to the loo up to twice in the night though. Could you try limiting her drink in the evenings (especially blackcurrant I understand).

Mine does this whenever she's sickening for something - I always drive myself mad trying to work out why its happening after months of success, and then a few days later she comes down with an awful cold or something and I remember again (Doh!).

Thanks for all your advice - Batters, would there be any other things to look out for if it was an infection?? she has no pain or anything when weeing so hoping just a phase. Luckily it's sunny here for once, so her sheets are drying nicely in the breeze now!
