My daughter's eating my house - help!!

My daughter M is nearly 2 1/2. She started chewing her bed when we got rid of her dummy about 3 months ago. We have had to throw the side rails away because there were splinters and big holes in them. She has in the last 3 weeks progressed to chewing chunks out of the plaster around her window. Does anyone else have this problem with their toddler? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Apparently my DP used to do this when he was little. I think he just grew out of it...

TBH I can't think of anything that might help... other than giving the dummy back!

She chews it because you can see the teethmarks but I'm not sure if she's swallowing it or spitting it out cos there are a lot of bits on the floor. The paint is just emulsion, it was painted recently and that's when she started on the window.

Could it be pica? It's a condition where children crave non food stuff. prob not if it's just that she's eating but you could google and see. Or you could try giving her dummy back to see if she stops.
