HELP!!! no sleep and a tired grumpy 2yr old!!!

Hi, i have a 2 yr old daughter, she has slept through 10-12hrs since she was 4 days old and now all of a sudden she won't sleep...nothing has changed in her routine but for the last month i have to sit with her until she's asleep which i have NEVER had to do and she only sleeps a few hours and wakes up and starts crying her heart out. It seems like something has scarred her as she won't let you leave the room while she's still awake. I honestly don't know how much longer we can go on like this as we are only having 3-5 hrs sleep, i have tried everything i can think of...any suggestions? p.s she is that scarred she climbed out of her cot so we have had to take the railings off, she seems to be fine having a bed...made no difference to her sleeping though!!

take her into bed with you when she wakes later? don't know, would be interested to see other opinions because i have just spent about a decade sitting in a chair while 2yo ds went to sleep.

i've have her in our bed every night this last month or on the sofa with me but it just disturbs our sleep all the more as she is very restless...i don't want her getting used to sleeping with us as i feel i will just be going round in circles and not solving the problem...
