My 10 week old DS is suddenly dribbling like crazy

The saliva glands kick in at ten weeks - they CAN'T dribble much before this point. He will be like this for a while. I used to sew towelling into DDs vests to absorb the dribble!

could be right, mine didn't get his first tooth until he was 8 months but some are born with them! If he's not fussed i wouldn't worry yourself, although the dribbling can be very frustrating, remember to try not to wipe it up all the time as this might make his skin sore.

dd was the same - I was told it was teething as she was also chewing her fingers at every oppotunity! She's 6 months now - still no sign of teeth and the dribbling is still at full soak!!! I have have over 20 bibs and still never have enough!!!

Clara - I was born with teeth and no you don't choke - they tend to be attached

Your HV probably doesn't know. She can probably tell you the calories in a teaspoon of wallpaper paste babyrice though

My DS1 constantly dribbled and I always got comments about him teething.... he didnt get his first til 10 months old!!!!

I sympathise as I remember always constantly changing bibs and tops. Hes now 3 and its stopped!!!!!
