Trick when ds (2 .6) wants to be naughty

I have started telling ds when he has that 'I want to do something naughty' look on his face to say bogies or poo out loud as that's naughty. It's working a treat and has deflected him from naughty stuff several times now. Anyone think of any downsides?

I have a tendancy to say 'Oh Poo' instead of swearing in front of my kids but now they never stop saying "poo" all the time!!! DD started calling people poo head and if I ask DS (34 months) what he wants for meals etc, he answers "poo".

Good idea to stop your LO being naughty though!

Dh is a bit concerned that I'm sort of sanctioning being naughty generally so hence the question!
But I've been doing it for a week and there's less general naughtiness as a result not more.
