Another is it normal question.......re body slamming

Hi Ladies,

My 16 month old son loves to sit down and throw himself back and forward so that his whole head and body bounces off the back of the chair....He does this body slamming whilst sitting on the sofa and when he is out in his buggy (which draws many a strange look). He seems to really enjoy doing it and is throwing himself back harder and harder which is becoming a real cause for concern...

Also when he is walking and sitting sometimes he starts shaking his head from side to side really fast.

Does any one else's little one do these things? I'm really starting to worry if this is normal behaviour....

Any advice appreciated.

My 3.10 year old does this. He also falls onto the floor a lot from standing. He's very lively and energetic though and never sits still.

thanks.....he is also extremely energetic and doesn't like to stay still.....I worry for his head.....
