Anger management for 13yr old.....does it work or is a complete waste of time?

I have worked with a small number of young people who have had it, don't know how useful my info will be as it's not a huge number, and all of them are so different! But I'd say it really can help; depending on the severity of the child's problems and depending on the support they are getting at home.

Home is very very important. If the anger is being created or compounded by what's happening at home then I don't think it's going to be as effective. In that sort of case family therapy would be of more use.
