Behaviour/development

Letting your kid get fat is "child abuse" (apparently)

According to a BBC news report from interviewing paediatricians .

Ain't necessarily so. I was a fat (probably obese) kid in primary and early secondary school and I reckon it was a temporary phase of primarily comfort-eating because I'd lost most of my friends from moving home so much. Your parents can't shield you from every upset in life and sometimes it makes you stronger in the long term.
