Hello.
I have 2 boys, one will be three in July and the other will be one in July. Currently they share a room but the baby has started waking in the night so we have been moving him into the bed in the spare room when that happens so as not to disturb our toddler. Also one wakes earlier than the other etc.
Last night I decided that it was silly to keep moving the baby in the night so I put his cot in the spare room.
Well it took from 7pm until 11pm to settle him and then he was up at 4am and unsettled till 5am and then woke around 6.45am.
Would you persevere with the seperate bedrooms or move baby back in with toddler and hope that he doesnt wake toddler in the night, (he tends to only really wake the once, but can take a while to settle).
I am shattered and really cant take many more broken nights.

I would try to work out why he has srarted waking in the night to start with - is he after supper, maybe? Perhaps a bowl of porridge before bed could solve this?

Could he be teething? If so, maybe some calpol before bed could solve this>?

I would persevere with the seperate rooms - I have to have my one year old in with me because he disturbs my 4 year old, and 4 year old clambers in the cot with him etc. If I had seperate rooms I wouldn't be having this problem!

Actually Ive found my oldest in the cot with him a couple of times!
When he wakes he drinks and drinks, doesnt make a difference if its milk or water. He drinks a lot in the day too.
He goes down fine when its his daytime naps, just the night time.
