Hello everyone! My ds has been waking up at 4 am every morning, he has learn (finally) how to roll from his back to his front and he likes to sleep that way, but when he wants to change posture he can not do it, and wakes up screaming!! After that he can not go back to sleep and cries and cries until I put him in bed with me... I know I'm not doing it wright... Help!!!

Yes, I remeber when my ds learnt to do this (albeit a bit earlier) and it was a horrible phase. Seeing that he is 7 months old and you have ruled out hunger etc., could you try a form of cc (not always popular). You could try settling down and leaving the room and initally go back and repeat after a minute or two if he is still crying. Just carry on the process and upping the length of time you leave him by a minute each time. He will soon learn to settle himself and there is nothing to be gained by crying. Only do it if you feel really confident you can follow it through because it can take time and can be distressing. HTH

I put DS3 in a grobag and it prevents him from rolling over, have you tried that?

a grobag doesnt hinder my ds (almost 7 months) - he can be found anywhere in the cot and may be on his back, side or tummy!!

Try a bigger size grobag and tuck the end under the mattress (Plibble's patented child-restraint method).

grogbags are magic, buy one before your ds is too old to be "re-educated" in to using one
