Teething and early waking

Are these linked?

DD (11 months) is in her third bout of teething. But unlike the last two occasions, this has now seemed to coincide with her waking very early and very upset - around 4.30-5.30 for the last four or five days. Its not been possible to put her back down at all. She has also been unusually difficult to settle at bedtime.

I can understand why she might wake during her light sleep at this time I suppose but its strange that its the first time its affected her like this. Has anyone else experienced it?

Last time round she was teething for weeks - I hope that's not the case with the early starts now!

Also, she's had a runny nose and been sneezing but no real signs of a cold. Again, are these typically linked to teething (she hasn't done this before)?

yep can all be linked to teething. I found the first couple of teeth didn't bother ds as much as the later ones.

Dodgy tummy as well can come with teething.

Hope she gets through it quickly
