Every night there are worries and sadness...kids aged 7 mad 9 and a 12 yr old who tries it on!

They claim to be lonely and it's unfair that they have to sleep alone...when I go to bed there is alwYs one of the younger ones already sneaked in who gets ejected and during the night or will come in and ends up staying...the 12 yr old will claim that he can't sleep/ bad dream but we tell him he's too big to fit in and gas to go back to his own bed.
Why are they so anxious at night, our house is warm and cosy and we settle them well...but they are fixated that dh and i have each other and that's really unfair
What to do.... is there an underlying cause for concern? What's the problem? ConfusedConfusedConfused

The reason I'm asking is this has gone on for years and I'm concerned that they seem so lonely and sad at night, but fine during the day

Why don't you get them a big double to share for the 3 of them?
