Any dentists about? 8mo has a black mark on a tooth and they don't look fully developed

My 8mo boy, breastfeed and in the midst of baby-led weaning (so not eating much food, definitely no sweets!), has 7 teeth. I've just noticed that there's a black mark on the bottom of one of them. Also, the top teeth don't look like proper teeth. The bottom of them (i.e. not the part by the gums) aren't fully there - it's like they have little holes in them. I've attached some pretty bad photos (even with 2 of us, that's the best we could do!) but opening them on a computer, you should be able to see what I'm talking about.

I'm pretty freaked out because I'm not sure what the issue is. I am meeting our public health nurse (luckily!) on Tuesday so I'm hoping for a referral to a dentist, but I'm a little concerned he's too young and she'll just blow me off until he's older. It would be great to have some idea what the issue is or what a dentist would recommend for a baby that young.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be gratefully received.

Thanks!

Has he had antibiotics or a serious illness during the time when his teeth were being formed? My dd's teeth did not develop the enamel properly due to health issues at the crucial time. One tooth is very small+ brown.

No, he's been very healthy. It's so odd :-/

Perhaps book to see your dentist, if needed they will refer you to paediatric dentist/hospital if needed.

Good luck
