Gripe Water

I've been using infacol with my newborn for about 3-4 weeks now and it has not cured it so I've been recommended gripe water which I started using yesterday...baby seemed a lot more settled yesterday but has had 2 bouts of colic this morning. It says on the bottle to give 5ml up to 6 times a day but I BF on demand so that won't last me! Is it ok to give a 1ml dose at each feed or as needed because then I can eek out the maximum dosage?

Desperate first time mom xx

I honestly don't know. But maybe contact the HV. Baby massage can also help I'm told. Regarding dosage may be also worth calling / phoning a pharmacist who can also be very helpful. As for me, I had a very colicky little person and resorted to dipping dummy into gripe water. Not recommended but it helped us and comforted the little one. Good luck and I wish you well for this difficult patch xx
