GROWTH CHARTS IN RED BOOK - GENETIC POTENTIAL ETC

looking through the red book i saw the growth charts and worked example of how tall your child should be based on parental height. DS aged 2.11 should be 75th percentile, but anywhere between 50th and 91st would be within the right range according to the explanation in his book. Thing is he@s currently on the 25th. Anyone had experience of this? Don't necessarily want to get HV involved as loathe to create an issue if there is none. Anyone had a child with big growth spurts? or is this fine? Or maybe because he@s within the range of normal height the fact that below potential not a problem? any thoughts welcome. PS he is growing - 7cm growth in last 10 months. thanks v much
