crying during massage normal?

My baby keeps crying due to wind so I'm trying to alleviate this with massage. If they have trapped wind and I'm massaging should they cry because the wind is moving out ? I know it wasn't me hurting her as she was quiet at first then her pain started again .

I don't know, but is it possible she's overwhelmed by the sensations of the massage?

My DD hated massage: especially during the classes, but she wasn't very keen when I did it at home either.

I learned over time that DD was easily overwhelmed by things that other babies didn't find a problem. She's a sensitive little flower Grin, but much better at coping now.

The other possibility to consider would be reflux. Does your baby ever get upset and pull away while feeding?

(if you think it might be reflux, get to the gp - they can try various things to help)
