Toddler's room temperature

DD 19 months went to bed in a t-shirt and a 1-tog sleep bag but was very clammy when I went in to check on her so she's now asleep in the t-shirt and some PJ bottoms and no sleep bag.

Her room temperature is 24 (usually around 18-19 so a big difference).

Although it's really hot it feels wrong her not being covered. I myself am in bed with a night dress but still have a sheet over me.

What are the rest of you doing?

My dd is 18 months and she's sleeping in a vest and no blanket. I always think It's better to be a bit cold than too hot. When I was young I had febrile convulsions so its something my mum is paranoid about and I think its rubbed of on me a bit.

You can get 0.5 ones which are recommended for 24 degrees. There's a chart here:

gro.co.uk/pages/what-to-wear

My son is still a baby at 9 mo, I put him down in just short sleeved/legged PJs and a nappy with a thin cellular blanket over him. He kicked the blanket off though and slept fine without it. Why don't you give it a try for a night, and get the thin bag if it doesn't work?

My DS is 20 months and his room temp was 29 degrees last night apparently, so he was just in a nappy.

He slept fine and wasn't sweaty or
cold. I personally couldn't bear the thought of being wrapped in a sleeping bag in this weather, so applied the same to him.

A toddler will soon let you know if they're too cold!

Lots of people seem to insist on still using the sleeping bags even when it's hot which I don't get?

24 doesnt seem that bad a temperature. In winter we keep out house around 21/22 using the heating and in that temp everyone is in winter duvets and pjs.

It's still 33 degrees in our bedroom. Kids are asleep in just pants sprawled across middle of our bed

All in one sleep suit - that's it.

He normally sleeps in a bag. But it's to hot so no bag.

Dd's (2.11) room was 29 last night. She went to bed in vest and knickers, with a large cellular blanket. She was clammy through the night and each time I checked her her blanket was on the floor.

DS (9months) room was 27 (according to the monitor but I'm sure it was hotter) and he went to bed in a sleeveless vest, with cellular blanket and he also kicked his blanket off all night long!!

The gro temperature chart of what to wear etc is good when you use the bags. I used bags with dd, but DS has never taken to them! Hoping he will come the winter!

I wouldn't worry about DC being cold in this kind of temperature and they will wake if they are
