The calm before the storm?

DS turns 2 in 10 days time. We all know about the terrible twos etc, DS has been having tantrums for several months already. I've been off work for about a month with my hand and somehow in that time DS has completely chilled out. He still has the occaisional tantrum, but less frequently. He has always been a typical little boy, racing around everywhere, rough and tumble etc. But he seems a lot less boisterous, more keen to be taught things, even more loving than he has always been and in fact I don't want to go back to work properly next week! he has been a joy to be around.

So is it all set to go wrong again in 10 days?!! Or is it just a 'nice' phase and I should make the most of however it will last for? Or will DS actually now be more interested in interation rather than throwing himself off furniture?

He'll be changing all the time, is my experience.. My ds1 (2.3) is sometimes really gentle and biddable but often goes like hell for leather and there's nothing much we can do except hold on and enjoy the ride! It may be crazy but it won't be boring...

I'd love to give you a definitive answer. But I cant......

He's a gorgeous little boy though, IMO.

The Terrible Two's is just alliteration IMO.
"It" starts anywhere from 15 months and ends just after the last time they throw themselves on the floor and thrash their limbs around (10?)
