I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with this! My three (and four months) year old has been pretty much potty trained for about a year n

My DS is the same age exactly and has done this a few times recently, he has such mega tantrums he loses control of his bladder. Has yours just started nursery? because my DS has and is so exhausted I think that's what it's all about.

Thank you for ypur reply Mrs Marigold - although I'm sorry you are having the same issue, I must admit I'm glad its not just DS. Smile

DS has just upped his hours at preschool (well, in September) so hopefully it is just that - I can't work out if he is having a tantrum because he needs a wee, or if his tantrum ends up with him wetting himself (some days it can be two or three times, some days not at all).
I find myself asking if he needs a wee as soon as he starts acting up, and am not quite sure if I should ignore it or react, as sometimes it feels deliberate, but sometimes I'm sue it is an accident.

I find that if we go at the pre-school just before he goes in and then again afterwards just before we head home we tend to avoid this. I've tried making it part of the routine in the last week or so and it has been better. One of my close friends has had the same with her DS too so I don't think it's too unusual.
