Supposed to have 10 day chck today been at home all day no phone call no nothing my ds has been climbing the walls to.go out I phone up to see where they are apparently they knocked twice but no answer., I quiz them about address and yep the went to the wrong house not even remotly similar! Now can't n won't be seen! As apparently my fault?!!!!!! So chuffin annoyed

I don't think they can refuse to see you if it was their mistake that they got the wrong house?

Can you ring them back and ask to speak to a supervisor to make a formal complaint? If you got the name of the person who admitted that they went to the wrong house you can quote them.

That might prompt them to apologise and rearrange the appointment.

How did they manage that ??
How annoying !!
My sister had this happen twice although not the same excuse as yours gave .
New mums need their rest when they can get it and not to be left waiting up for people who don't turn up !!
I agree with pp who said ring up .

I have rung up and left messages on the answer phone also rung 24hr midwife number and got told they will bleep the on call mw but still no reply! I can't believe they missed me, grr whole day wasted as id promised ds to go out as soon as they been n gone
