I have HV assessment for 23 mth old ds tomorrow but it is going to be a home visit. Is this normal or kinda weird????

Where I live they do the 2 year check ups at your house.

Have had all 2y checks at home I think. HV brought us a lovely sure start book pack too.

we have stop two year assessments with me.

I think all development tests (with exception of the hearing test) are carried up at home where the baby may be less distracted than in an strange place (ha,ha). Check the red book,, if there's a develpment check at that age or one that you may have missed in the months before, then that's what you are up for.
