dd has a tendency to occasionally hit my 11 mo ds and the cat. i keep reiterating that were do not hit, its not nice, be gentle etc but she continues to do so. i have followed the 123 magic idea of kerbing such behaviour but still no change.

she does respond well to books though, and after Aa couple of reads will go of to ’read’ to herself, reciting the story asshe remembers it and looks at the pictures.

does anyone know of a toddlers book that might help bring the story and so idea if not hitting to life?

many thanks

We bought one from Amazon called Hands are Not for Hitting. It went down well with our DS when he was three.

'Be gentle' it's about a baby bear and a kitten. It's not specifically about hitting but more about being gentle with cats, might work.
