My dd is 22 months old, in last 2 weeks, and without a reason , she has started acting really scared of any kind of stuffed animals- or any kind of moving toy animal, even a easter present which is a singing chick inside a plastic egg ! . I s fine with all her own toys but seems to be anything new or in anyones else house. Reacts by cryng and saying " not like it " and running to me or her dad. Then today went to a farm to see lambs etc and she refused to look at any animals at all. Rabbits through to shire horses were greeted by " not like it " No tears just clinging on and refusing to look. As she wasnt crying not sure if she is genuinely scared or if it is just a phase =- can anyone help. Really dont want her to be scared of animals or toy animals, has anyone experienced anything similar ?

DS2 was like this. I remember taking him to Santa's grotto when he was 23 months and he was absolutely freaked by the moving animals. Screamed the place down.

TBH he's still not that keen on animals - he's 4 now - ok with small animals, not keen on dogs (ds1 is oblivious to animals, ds3 absolutely adores them and ds2 is in the middle), but he's fine with toys etc. He's a bit of a wuss in general but is fine with moving stuffed animals now. It was just a phase.
