Wasn't sure were or wether to post this but thought I might need some encouragment. I also had to tell someone of our big change, u dont know how much effort this has all been.

I am starting a more structured routine with DD as now 12weeks and very aware and gets over stimulated if we feed her downstairs in the lounge in the evening. Will now have to sacrifice programmes in the evening.

As she has now reached her 10lbs (I know she is only little thing!) I thought it was time to move her to her Big cot and her new growbag, as her arms were sticking out of the crib, she kicked the blanket off and she had no room to move!!! I'm sure that may be some of the reasons why she wakes up early in the morning??. I have also for the first time given her 7:00 bottle in her room in her grow bag and then put her in her cot.
We started on Tues as she had her jabs and we wanted her to be more comfortable and she slept beautifully but still woke for her 3:30 feed, struggled a little to get her to sleep but then she went through to 7:00 BLISSSSS.
I just hope she does the same tonight and doesn't do her normal 4:00am day start aarrrrrgghh. DH is ill at the mo , so I am doing EVERY bottle , so please pray for us over the next few days!!!!!!! I have been reading everything to try and change this EARLY rising!!!!

How early has the early rising been? it's a pain when it happens isn't it? But I think they all go through a phase of it at some stage. My daughter went into the big cot at around 3 months too and she seemed blissfully comfortable. I kept looking at her with her arms stretched out after so long in her little moses basket. She's 14 months now and LOVES her cot. I'm sure it will go very well for you and don't worry about one night feed at that age, I think it's very typical.

Growbags are great !

Ever thought of getting a pair of headphones for your TV - then DD won't hear all the noise !! And you can keep up with the soaps .... an second thpughts ......

Spellchecker sounds good , i'm terrible!!!

Evita - she wakes at 4:00-5:00, we get her back to sleep sometimes for 1/2 hr and then keep doing the same every half hr. We normally go in and settle her a bit ,but recently - I know its baaaaad - we turn the light on and put her musical thingy on and if u look at her she grins and chuckles and that is it NO MORE SLEEP. So its my fault, as I am encouraging it more - but the crying and the flailing body , oh the crying.

I also wake her at 11:00 at night to give her a feed to help her push past 3:30am and sometimes it does work and she goes to 5:00, But I am like the walking dead.

Is she sleeping enough in the day do you think? I found that when my daughter started taking better daytime naps her night time sleep also improved and she slept later in the morning. It does get better too when they become more mobile and wear themselves out more in the day.
