What do u think of the name Evia for a girl? Its of hebrew origin and means Life, and animal. Do u think it looks like a made up name? really dont want that but thought it looks and sounds pretty. Thanks x

Hmm, it does look made up, but on the other hand, it is very pretty ...

Great help aren't I?

is it like Evian but without the N in pronounciation?

It is nice, but I think she would be called 'Eva' and 'Evie' a lot. Don't know whether that would bother you. My DD has a name which is often misspelled - much to my surprise - and it does irritate me a bit.

Same as Dandy Lioness, would think you wanted evie or eva and made it up to be different.

v pretty but i feel a life time of having to correct people! go for it if u love it xx

Yep also agree with Dandy Lioness. It is a pretty name but unfortunately Evie and Eva are very popular at the moment so firstly it might look like an attempt at 'yooneeq' spelling and secondly she might well be in a class with both an Evie and an Eva.

It will be constantly mispronounced and/or mis spleled.

2 of my dc names lead to such problems. I cannot tell you how much it pisses my off and how much I'd called them Anna and Peter or something. (Actually, I really really wanted Peter but dh veoted it )

Oh, and tbh I don't like it.

It will make people think Evian (I know a few).
