I like Phillippa. I went to school with one and she was one of the nicest people I've known.

She did get called Flipper a lot, though I doubt kids nowadays have ever watched that show!

Philippa gives her a posher option in later life if she wants it, so I would go with that officially, but just know her as Pippa.

Same as Emmylou,its my name and I like it now but not so keen when I was a child.i tend to be called Pip ratehr than Pippa and do use my full name as well!

Have namechanged for this but I'm a Philippa, nm Pippa.

I really like my name but I'm glad I have my full name so I can choose Pippa to be my nm. I sometimes use my full name as well.

I also got called Flipper at school, the boys all used to sing it non-stop in swimming lessons. Probably didn't help that I couldn't actually swim so they thought it was hysterical.
