Amber is a lovely name. Don't see a problem.

does it bother you that much how they sound together? the only thing that would concern me is that they have similar sounds right at the start of the names however there is nothing problematic about them together iyswim?

Cant really understand this idea that siblings names must 'go together'. It just dosent matter.

Thanks, i just think it's something you do quite a lot - tell people the names of your kids! So although they don't necessarily have to 'go' with each other, then i thought it'd be better if they weren't a mouthful to say out loud if that makes sense!

of course you do Pia, I considered the name for my 3 dd's by seeing if they sounded nice together but I'm not convinced I wouldn't have used a name I loved it it didn't 'go'

I could see it coming out as "Camber and Ameron" on occaasions!

Squish I totally agree, they're not cooking ingredients - they are independent people!

OP, I think they're both lovely names and if the little one inside me right now is a boy we'd already decided on that name!

I think they sound fine together. If you love the name, I'd go for Amber!

Amber's a bit dated.

Amber and Cameron is easier to say than Cameron and Amber.

But the names are fine - they "go" in so far as the don't sound like they're from two different families.

I love, love love the name Amber! Its top of my girls name list. Have you a middle name picked out?? I think it works fine with Cameron.
Go for it!!
