Would like opinions on this too please. Is this one popular at all?

I haven't heard it used. I think it's a thoroughly ugly name.

I know 2 people (both in their 30's) called Henrietta, btw.

My sister is Henrietta. It is a nice name, but was generally shortened to 'Hen' by her unfeeling elder sisters, and to Henri by her friends. My Mum still (mostly) sticks to Henrietta.

MIL in her 80s = Henrietta = Not good
But DD was a swimming club with one and she was lovely and it really suited her. She would be 13 now.

Both sometimes called Etta for short

Not at all popular but it has some lovely nicknames. Can you hear yourself using the full name? I have a slight issue with this myself with dd's name and do wish I chosen differently If you don't suffer from such reservations, then use it

My sister is Henrietta, shortened to Henny.

This is my name and I have always hated it!
Family members with same name have had it shortened to Etty, Hetty and Rita which are nicer.

There was a Henrietta at school, she was known as Yetta. I think it is a lovely name with all sorts of shortenings, go for it
