Boys is more or less right: Albert, Alfie, Alfred (shortened to Alfie or Freddie), Arthur, Brendan, Freddie, Gregory, Joseph, Leo, Owen, Raefe, Ralph

Girls: Aoife, Audrey, Ava, Belle, Darcy, Edith, Effie, Flavia, Gisele, Imogene, Isla, Isobel, Orlaith, Phoebe, Tess, Thalia

Not much of a 'short' list I know!

I like Arthur, Owen, Audrey and Tess.

Is Imogene pronounced differently from Imogen?

Whoops - that was a typo. Not meant to have the extra e.

From the boys list I like Gregory the rest are too grandad like for my taste.
Girls I like Isla, Isobel and Orlaith. Aoife is lovely but the spelling baffles a lot of people but it such a pretty sound.

I really love #marker#24, has a lovely ring to it. Are the hashes silent?

Albert, Gregory and Ralph from boys and Audrey and Tess from the girls!

From your boys' names I like Brendan, Joseph, Leo, and Owen. The rest are too popular, imo.

From the girls' side, I like Aoife, Audrey, Flavia, Gisele, Orlaith (but would spell it Orla) and Tess.

Since the 'ith' part of Orlaith is silent, I would go with the simpler and perfectly acceptable spelling.
