I know one age 7 and one age 5. Lovely name though. Would you regret it if you did not use it?

My friend wishes she had stuck with her original choice of Scarlet and says that she feels really jealous when she hears of a child called this. She heard of 2 little girls called this the week before her DD was born and so changed the name to something else. She really regrets it!

DD1 has a name which is popular in it's many variants, this would possibly bother me but I adore her name and have no regrets.
I would prefer that she wasn't one of five in her class but am fairly conservative and want a name that isn't met with confused looks/ grimaces.
I like scarlet v much but possibly love Violet more..... Don't tell
me that's been done to death too!!
