I don't like it - there is a girl at dd's school who spells it Caycee.

Assuming it's for a boy, it's nice, what does it mean? I like Carey too (met a v attractive one once).

Don't think it matters whether it's chavvy - who knows what will be chavvy in ten/twenty years? (I think my ds's name could be considered 'chavvy', but then dd is named after a literary pioneer )

I quite like it for a boy or girl really.

I don't know any.

i don't like it - but if I had to chose for a boy or girl I'd say it's better for a boy...

I really like the name. I think it suits both boys and girls.

For a girl its rather cute and for a boy its rather cool!

I'd go for it.

I know 2 Casey's (both girls), one is 16 and the other is 5. Not too keen but don't hate it.

Agree with DP, my 6yo daughter mentioned one in her class a few days ago and most of my older ones immediately said 'chav' in unison .

Carey?

Isn't that the name for a hole in your tooth?

Maybe...

found this Carey. Thinking maybe it was Cary and they just pronounced it Care-y?

Anyway, yes, Casey for a girl is more chavvy in my mind but does it really matter?

Umlellala, I think I've heard of him - maybe I saw him in some credits.

My nephew is called Casey. He's 18 and not chavvy in the slightest. Don't like it as a girl's name though.
