My current top 3 for each sex. I need to decide which ones I am really going to lobby for. I need to be consistent to have a chance of getting one of my choices

Girls:
Talia
Delilah
Dahlia

Boys:
Rory
Charlie
Freddie

Love Talia and Delilah. Was considering both but nieces name is Lila and would get confusing. Am going to go with Tallulah which is a bit like both those names. As for your boy names I do like Rory. Cute and unusual. I don't mind the other two but have taught many Charlies and Freddies over the years so would put me off...the curse of being a teacher though!I absolutely loved the name Ezra for my DS but then taught one who made my life Hell!

Thanks. I was leaning towards Talia anyway and I think I'll push for Rory as well.

I love Delilah but DH won't let me. Also love Rory. Talia is beautiful but in certain areas v popular (eg in north London they are 10 a penny but in south London you could do roll-calls in playgrounds every day for a week and not find one).

I like them all - and I think a shortlist is better than just one name just in case it doesn't look like an "x"

My order is the same as clairebear.

Good luck!

I love Delilah - and often call my DD that (even though it's not her real name)

My friend just had a baby and they called him Byron - which I also love.

Talia/Thalia or Dhalia both nice. Not so keen on (Why? Why?Why?) Delilah

Not keen on boy's names. Just not to my taste.
