We have finally got a short list of 2, and need some opinions to help decide. We want something a bit unusual, so what do you think?

Ailsa
Zena

Thanks

I prefer Ailsa. Don't really like Zena (or Xena) at all.

I prefer Ailsa too

Zena is just too wannabe-different/warrior-princessy for me

Of the two I prefer Ailsa but I'm not dying about it (also makes me think of Alf Stewart's wife in Home and Away years ago...)

I prefer Isla or Alicia which have a similar feel - or Skye if you're going for an island theme

Hmmm, think i prefer Ailsa but again i'm not mad about it. Like previous poster i prefer Isla which sounds sort of similar.

Thanks ladies, interesting as we were edging more towards Zena. Even more undecided now, umph

I think Xena is nicer, but to have it sound less 'warrior-princess-like', I'd prefer Xenia. There are some other forms here: Xenia girl name

I don't like either, I'm afraid.

Ailsa is the better of the two names IMO

Not keen on either, sorry.

Prefer Elsa/Alissa tbh than Ailsa.

I don't like either but Ailsa is the better of the two.

Hi Hoodie, what did you go for? My little girl is Zena. It's an Arabic name that means beautiful. I'm not limited by the trashy TV connotations as I tend not to watch it! There are many inspiring Zenas to look up to!

I like both, but prefer Zena.
