How would you spell this name (for a girl)?

I'd assume it was Peyton, but DH assumed it was Payton, and there's a street near where we live that is spelt Payten.

Id say Peyton

Peyton Manning is most definitely a man.

Peyton can be used for men or women.

I thought of Peyton from One Tree Hill. But I've heard of Peyton Manning too. I think it suits both sexes equally.

Peyton like Peyton Place.

Peyton would be what I would assume and it's the one I like the most.

PoldarksBreeches Sun 30-Oct-16 14:48:19

Why would you though? It's an awful name.

Awwlookatmybabyspider Sun 30-Oct-16 15:58:58

I'd spell it Paighton.

PoldarksBreeches Sun 30-Oct-16 16:04:35

Paighton shock
I'm really hoping that's a very obscure meta piss take

Awwlookatmybabyspider Sun 30-Oct-16 16:18:22

Please don't spell it at all, it is a really insipid and dull little name , you can think of something much better for your baby.

Awwlookatmybabyspider Sun 30-Oct-16 17:54:10

Is she the one in The hand that rocks the cradle

Pluto30 Sun 30-Oct-16 19:27:41

Oh, we're not considering it as a name. We've already picked one. I was just curious about the spelling. smile

It's a totally different style to the name we've picked, although I do like it nonetheless.

ShowOfHands Sun 30-Oct-16 19:44:54

Yes Aww. The only Peyton in my head.

viques Sun 30-Oct-16 20:31:23
