Camilla Miller?

I really love the name Camilla but I'm worried it sounds awful with our surname. Are they just go similar?

Yes they are, sorry

Why?

Too similar in my opinion, sorry.
I've just sat here saying Canilla Miller really fast several times and it just made me chuckle.
Go for it if you really love it but she'll get teased to high heaven!

Camilla Not Canilla.

It's a bit too similar.

Made me laugh when I read it. I personally wouldn't.

Friolero · 15/10/2016 11:15

You really can't use Camilla with Miller, it sounds ridiculous together (sorry)

Wayfarersonbaby · 15/10/2016 11:16

Oh no, I wouldn't. Sorry, OP. Poor kid would have years at school of people chanting her name. Could you get it in a middle name spot? eg. Hannah Camilla Jane Miller or similar?

No, not with your surname sorry.

Report
Caipira · 15/10/2016 11:23

No not with Miller. How about Camille?

Report
Meeep · 15/10/2016 11:24

What about Carmel instead?

Thank you. You've all confirmed what I was thinking.

Any opinions on Antigone or Theodora?

I'd go with Theodora Smile

Theodora is nice.

Love love love Theodora

Report
SirChenjin · 15/10/2016 11:47

Theodora is lovely

Report
allegretto · 15/10/2016 11:48

Antigone is setting her up for a lifetime of people saying Anti - gone.

Report
Friolero · 15/10/2016 13:53

I like Theodora

Report
Haffdonga · 15/10/2016 14:00

Agree, not Camilla.

Think through abbreviations she'll end up with for the other two names. Theodora can be Teddy, Thea, Dora (all lovely) but Antigone doesn't really shorten (Anti? Gonny? Actually Tiggy would work.)

Chinlo · 15/10/2016 14:02

Theodora is muuuch nicer than Antigone.

Report
Loyly · 15/10/2016 14:05

Theodora is great.

No, absolutely not Camilla! Is Camille an option?

I don't think any name ending in '-a' sounds good with Miller, I'm afraid.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 15/10/2016 17:47

How about Carmen Miller, could still call her Cammie !

Report
Move2yorkshire · 15/10/2016 19:41

I don't think I like Carmen. Or Camille.
Other names we have considered are Astrid, Elizabeth and Emmeline
