I think of very strong northern Irish accent. No idea why.

Why does he want to Deck the guy called Lan -- Lan sounds Chinese so maybe he doesn't like Chinese people? (Sorry, am not British)

Meh.. it's ok I suppose. Inoffensive but a bit dull.

A really hideously behaved child I have come across. And Ant and Dec.

I quite like it but when I mentioned it to DP, he said: "well he'd have to be friends with an Anthony..."

We aren't even expecting so it's irrelevant but I want to find a boy's name we can agree on before the time comes where we have to think of it.

It's like Brian, Dermot, Terry or Gerard.

A dull name for an older man.

No, though I can't say why. Maybe because it sounds like Decline.

I'd assume you were Irish or of Irish heritage.

I've just read you're not actually pregnant - you numpty. Come back to me when you're sitting in a hospital bed staring at your newborn thinking "what the hell is your name little one??". Voice of experience...

On second thoughts, perhaps you have the right idea....

I've got one already and luckily she was a girl and I had a name I'd always loved that DP liked too.

We could agree on a boy's name though. Just thought of this name recently and realised I quite like it.

The weirdest kid in my primary school was named Declan.

Or was it Dylan...

Hmm. One of these. He truly was a weird duck. Can't like the names now.

I love it but then again I love Declan Donnelly so maybe that's why😀

Daniel's far nicer if you like boy's names beginning with D.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 04/10/2016 05:37

Don't like Daniel.
