Expecting DC3, have two DS, assumed this would be a boy as well, but no it's a girl.
Names we liked previously....
Alice
Juliet
Josephine
Bryony

Not sure about these now, although Alice will probably be a middle name.
Any suggestions? I find name websites difficult to browse, just lists of alphabetised names.
Thanks

I prefer Alice as a first name as its my favourite from your list.

Alice Josephine?

Thanks all.
I think Josephine Alice is my current favourite, but DH is not so sure.
Just trying to add to the list, but nothing is jumping out at me.
Although I do like Coralie, quite similar to my name though!

Thanks for all the suggestions.
It's such a responsibility naming a person.
It didn't seem so hard with the boys, but there are so l many girls names.
Plus the only girl (child) in the immediate family, so lots of pressure!

Lyra, I like that.
DH suggested Maddeline which has also gone on the list.

Have a look at nymbler.com - useful website, you can put in several names you quite like and it will suggest similar names. Bit American but still useful.

I like Alice over Josephine as a first name - too many Josephine's about alone with Josie and Joanna

What about

Clara
Jenna
Lydia
Cora

Josephine Alice sounds unbearably prim to me.

Have you thought about using Alison instead of Alice for a first name? I think it is much nicer and I would guess more unusual these days.

noitsachicken Thu 04-Aug-16 16:50:26

Thanks.
I like Clara, and Verity.
Alice has family significance so really want to include it.
Are there lots of Josephine's? I don't know any, none in any of the toddler groups, preschool or locally that I know of, maybe a regional thing?

Do you think it sounds prim?
